 Sports Goods: Pakistan is renowned for its sports goods industry, exporting items such as
footballs, cricket equipment, and other sports accessories.

To obtain an import or export license in Pakistan, the following general procedure is typically
followed:

 Business Registration: Register your business with the relevant authorities in Pakistan, such as
the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for companies or the relevant
provincial authority for sole proprietorships and partnerships.

 Tax Registration: Obtain a National Tax Number (NTN) from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)
to comply with tax requirements.

 Membership in Trade Associations: Join relevant trade associations or chambers of commerce,


such as the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) or the relevant
sector-specific associations.

 Import or Export Registration: Obtain an Import or Export Registration from the Pakistan
Customs, which requires submission of necessary documents and payment of applicable fees.

 Import or Export License: Depending on the nature of the goods or services being imported or
exported, specific licenses or permits may be required. These may include licenses from
regulatory bodies such as the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) for pharmaceuticals
