The Socio-Economic and Gender Analysis (SEAGA) program aims to incorporate socio-economic and gender considerations into development projects, programs, and policies to ensure all efforts address the needs of both men and women. SEAGA targets three levels of development workers - field agents, development planners, and policy-makers - providing them with tools to identify priorities and needs of local communities, analyze linkages between levels, and facilitate gender mainstreaming. Using a holistic and participatory approach, SEAGA examines social, economic, and gender issues at macro, intermediate, and field levels to support more sustainable and equitable development.
