    If f ( x )=5 x +1∧g ( x )=x 2 , the find fog ( x )∧gof ( x ) .


    Solution:-

    f (x)=5 x +1 g ( x)=x2

    fog(x )=5(x 2 )+ 1

    ¿ 5 x +1

    gof ( x )= (5 x +1 )2

    ¿ ( 5 x )2 +2 ( 5 x ) ( 1 ) + ( 1 )2

    gof ( x )=25 x 2 +10 x+1

    Let , f ( x )= y x=f −1 ( y )
    2 x +1
    So , y =
    x +2
    ⇒ y ( x+ 2 )=2 x+1
    yx +2 y=2 x+1
    ⇒ yx −2 x=1−2 y
    x ( y −2 )=1−2 y
    1−2 y
    x=
    y−2
    −1 1−2 y −1
    f ( y )= ∵ x=f ( y )
    y−2
    Replace “ y ” with “ x ”
    1−2 x
    ⇒ f −1 ( x ) =
