ORDER
1. KSE Board is following the Kerala PWD Schedule of Rates for preparation of
st
estimates. The Board vide B.O read as 1 paper above had accorded sanction to adopt
G.O(Rt) No.1151/2011/PWD dated 3.9.2011 in KSE Board with prospective effect for the
revision of PWD SOR 2010 for Civil works and Electrical works known as “Revised SOR-
2010”.

2. The Deputy Chief Engineer with full powers of Chief Engineer, Civil Circle,

Kothamangalam vide note read as 3 paper above reported that Govt of Kerala vide
G.O(Ms) No. 68/2012/PWD dated 28.09.2012 have revised the PWD Schedule of Rates
known as “SoR 2012” with effect from 01.10.2012 and requested Board sanction to
adopt the SoR 2012 in KSE Board.

3. After having examined the matter in detail, the Full Board in the meeting held on
30.10.2012 decided that the “SoR 2012” sanctioned vide G.O(MS) No. 68/2012/PWD
dated 28.09.2012 be adopted in KSE Board with prospective effect and that the new
Schedule of Rates will not apply in respect of contracts already executed or where a
tender based on earlier SoR is proposed to be accepted.

4. In view of the above decision taken by the Full Board, the Board hereby issues
orders accordingly.
