- Crochet hook 2,5 or 3mm / C or D Hook


- 25gr. Medium blue cotton
- 25gr. Turquoise cotton
- 30gr. Skintone cotton suitable for Rick
- 10gr. Black cotton
- 25gr. Brown cotton
- 5gr. Dark brown cotton.
- 30gr. White cotton
- Left over yellow cotton

- Safety eyes 18mm

HEAD.
Use the skin colored yarn.

Finish off

Secure the safety eyes between round 17 and 18, leaving 11sc between the eyes.

Bottom of the head.


Use the skin colored yarn.

Finish off and leave a long thread, we are going to attach the bottom to the top of the head.
Fill the head with stuffing and sc the two parts together (see photo’s on the next page)

Eyebrow.
Use the medium blue yarn.

1. chain 21.
2 Turn your work, insert hook in 2nd chain from hook and 20hdc along the chain
Or; make a 20hdc foundation chain.
Leave a long thread to sew the brow in place
Make sure the eyebrow is long enough so it reaches the outer part of both eyes. If it’s too long,
shorten the chain in row 1. Or if it’s too short, lengthen the chain in row one.

Secure the eyebrow with pin needles in a slight curve as shown in the picture below and sew the
eyebrow in place.

HAIR.
Use the medium blue yarn.

We are going to make 12 pieces of hair in total, in 4 different sizes, which we are going to crochet
together after finishing all the pieces.

Place them in order, as shown in the photo on the next page; Small, medium small 2x, medium, big 2x,

We are now going to crochet the parts together using sc.
Use the medium blue yarn.
Take a close look at the photo’s below and on the next page before starting.

Attach the yarn in a small piece.


1. 6sc, Take the medium piece, and attach it by inserting your hook in the last row of the medium
small piece and sc them together, this sc is the first sc of row 2 below.
2. 8sc, attach a medium small piece.
3. 8sc, attach a medium piece.
4. 10sc, attach a big piece.
5. 11sc, attach a big piece.
6. 11sc, attach a medium piece.
7. 10sc, attach a medium small piece.
8. 8sc, attach a medium small piece.
9. 8sc, attach a small piece.
10. 16sc, now insert your hook in the medium small piece again
11. 8sc, insert hook into next piece
12. 8sc, insert hook into next piece
13. 10sc, insert hook into next piece.
14. 11sc, insert hook into next piece.
15. 11sc, insert hook into next piece.
16. 10sc, insert hook into next piece
17. 8sc, insert hook into next piece

Don’t finish off but place the hair, flat, in front of you.

sc the bottom of the hair shut, as seen in the pictures on the next page.
Leave a long thread to attach the hair in place.
Secure the hair in place as seen on the pictures on the next page, making sure the two big parts are on
either side of the magic ring on top of the head.
LEGS 2x.
Start with the black yarn.

1. MR 6. (6v.)
2. 2sc in 1sc, repeat (12sc.)
3. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc, repeat (18sc.)
4. 2sc, 2sc in 1sc, repeat (24sc.)
5. 24scblo.
6. 24sc.
7. 24sc.
Switch to white.
8. 24scblo.
9. 24sc.
Switch to brown
10. 24sc.
11. 24scblo.
12-20. 24sc. (9 rounds)

Finish off the first leg, but not the second.


sc the legs together with 3sc and 1slst (see photo next page)
Place a stitch marker in the last sc of the first leg, this is where you will start the body.
BODY.
Attach the brown yarn.

1. 44sc.
2. 44sc.
3. 44scblo
Switch to dark brown.
4. 44hdc through the front loops of row 2 and 3. (see photo’s below) So with every hdc, you insert
your hook in the front loops of row 2 and 3. Finish off with a slst in the first hdc.
Attach with turquoise in the back loops of row 4 and the back loops of row 3 (see photo).
5. 44sc.
6. 10sc, sc2tog, 20sc, sc2tog, 10sc. (42sc.)
7-11. 42sc. (5 rounds)
12. 8sc, sc2tog, repeat 3x, 2sc. (38sc.)
13. 12sc, sc2tog, 16sc, sc2tog, 6sc. (36sc.)
Finish off

Top of the body.


Use the turquoise yarn.

1. MR 6sc. (6sc.)
2. 2sc in 1sc. Repeat (12sc.)
3. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (18sc.)
4. 2sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (24sc.)
5. 3sc, 2sc in 1sc. repeat (30sc.)
6. 4sc 2sc in 1sc. repeat (36sc.)
Finish off and leave a long thread, stuff the legs and body and sc the top part and body part together.
Details on the legs.

-Bottom of the legs; attach the dark brown to the front loops of round 11 of the legs and crochet
around the leg using slst, do this for both legs. Finish off.
-Belt buckle; With yellow. Chain 6, start from 3rd chain from hook; 3dc., finish off and leave thread to
sew the buckle in place.
Attach the buckle in the center of the belt (this is what we made with dark brown in row 4 of the
body)

LAB COAT.
Use the white yarn.

Chain 36, turn, starting from 2nd chain from hook sc 35 or make 35sc foundation chain.

1-9. 3sc, 1tc, turn. (9 rounds)


10. 2sc in sc, 33sc, 2sc in 1sc, 1tc, turn (37sc.)
11. 37sc, 1tc, turn.
12. 2sc in 1sc, 35sc, 2sc in 1sc, 1tc, turn (3sc.)
13. 39sc, 1tc, turn
14. 39sc, 1tc, turn
15. 2sc in 1sc, 37sc, 2sc in 1sc, 1tc, turn (41sc.)
16. 41sc, 1tc, turn
17. 41sc, don’t turn, we are going to continue with the side of the coat.

Where we stopped, is the bottom of the coat

We are now going to crochet along the sides of the coat (see pictures below)
8sc, (you should now be half way up the coat, like the second photo) 5hdc, 4dc (You should now be at
the top of the coat, like the third picture.)
In the same stitch one more sc.
sc all along the top side of the coat and 1sc extra in the last sc.
We are now going to crochet along the side of the coat again.
3dc, 5hdc, (we are nog at the half way point again, 8sc, 1sl st. finish off
We are now going to attach the coat to the body. Use the loops from the top part of the coat and the
top part of the body to attach the coat neatly in place using needle pins first.
Sew the parts together as shows in the third picture.
Making sure the collar is still pointing outwards.

ARMS 2x.
Start with the skin colored yarn.

1. MR 6sc.
2. 1sc, 2sc in 1sc, repeat (9sc.)
3-4. 9sc. (2 rounds)
5. 2sc, 1pst3, 6sc. (9sc.)
Switch to turquoise.
6-7. 9sc. (2 rounds)
Switch to white.
8. 9sc.
9. 9scblo.
10-16. 9 sc. (7 rounds)

Fold the arm flat, making sure the thumb is pointing outwards, if needed, add some sc untill you are in
the corner of the arm. Fill the arm and close them using 3sc.
Finish off and leave a long thread to sew the arms in place.

Make sure that the arms, when looking at it from the side, are aligned with the center of the legs.
Attach them 2 rounds below the neck with the thumbs pointing forward.

Attach with white in the front loops round 9 of the arms and sl st around, do this for both arms.
Attaching the head
Align the MR from the head with the MR from the top of the body and use the back loops of the top of
the body to secure the head in place with needle and thread.

Nose.
With skin colored yarn, make a small nose that is 3 stitches wide, just below the eyes.
