-Peanuts
 What is the product made of?
-The product is made of roasted peanuts, sugar, hydrogenated oil
(cotton seed, soybean, and rapeseed oil), and salt.
 How is the product made/ processed?
 First, the shelled peanuts first travel through a hot air roaster,
and are shaken and roasted evenly.

 The machine turns the peanuts from pale color to light brown.
 Next, the blancher removes any outside skins.

 Then the peanuts are grounded into a paste and combined with
some salt, a little sugar and vegetable oil to stabilize the mixture.

 Next, an army of plastic jars march to the filling station.

 Depositors fill the clear container at turbo speed up to 250 jars


each minute, machines then cap the containers and then the jars
receive the famous skippy labels.
 Where did the product originate?
-The product originated from Alameda, California.

 How did the product become globalized?


-As the brand has been sold and passed to another food production
companies, it has been marketed differently. The creator Rosefield sold
the brand to Best Foods. Successor companies most recently are
Unilever and Hormel.
