Context: Pronouncing past tenses
How context will be set: First, students ask their partner what they usually do afterschool and the reason they like to do it. Next, I ask each
person about their activities and if they did that yesterday. Lastly, I make the conclusion about using the verb in past tense when someone ask
about their activities in the past.

and write them on the board. Ss stand up and move around asking questions to match people to information
they have given.
Produce (skip) 1. Show Ss three words in the past and rules to pronounce

While Ss practice to pronounce “-ed” with words
3. Listen
- Ss listen a whole sentence and mark the verbs with a tick (✓) if they can hear the -ed ending
clearly, and a cross (x) if they can't
