ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION


(ANGEL’S FLO)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Ethyl Alcohol 70 mL per 100 mL (Angel’s Flo) is a clear and colorless solution packed in different plastic containers (See
availability).

WHAT IS IN ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)?


Ethyl Alcohol 70% Solution contains Isopropyl Alcohol.

ETHYL ALCOHOL is a clear, colorless flammable liquid with an agreeable ethereal odor and a burning taste. It tends to
destroy or inactivate viruses. It is commercially available product that is mainly found as a 70% solution in rubbing alcohol.

Other ingredients are Water, Moisturizer and Fragrances.

WHAT IS ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO) USED FOR?


Ethyl Alcohol 70% Solution (ANGEL’S FLO) is used as antiseptic/disinfectant solution for the following conditions:
• Hygienic purposes
• After shave
• Splash on
• General antiseptic

HOW SHOULD YOU USE ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)?
• Use ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO) as directed on the label to avoid risk of contamination.
• Use topically on the skin. Pour on hands and rub freely on skin.
• Wash the hands and arms with soap and water. Rinse with water and then scrub with ethyl alcohol for hygienic
purposes.

WHEN SHOULD YOU NOT USE ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)?
• Do not use ethyl alcohol on open wounds or on sunburned, dry, or irritated skin as it may worsen the condition.
If you have any open skin areas, the rubbing alcohol could also burn when applied.

CARE THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN USING ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO) Warning
and Precautions:
• Ethyl alcohol is flammable. Avoid storage near sources of ignition.
• Keep away from direct heat and sunlight exposure.
• Parents used to use rubbing alcohol applied to a child’s skin to give off a cooling sensation. However, this method
is potentially dangerous because a child’s skin can absorb the alcohol and become toxic. Even adults can have
neurological and heart problems from applying alcohol-soaked towels to bare skin.
• Do not drink alcohol in topical preparations. Do not take it by mouth. Topical medicine is for use only on the skin.
• If this product gets in your, eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water.
• Do not allow a child to use this product without supervision.

Other medicines and Ethyl alcohol:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines,
vitamins, and herbal supplements. It is not likely that other drugs you take orally or inject will influence topically applied
ethyl alcohol.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:


There is no evidence to suggest that ethanol, at concentrations that do not affect the mother, can affect the health of the
unborn child.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS OF ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)


Like all medicines, this can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The side effects below may happen with
this medicine.

Stop using ethyl alcohol 70% if you have signs of an allergic reaction: irritation; difficulty in breathing; swelling of your face,
lips, tongue, or throat. Get medical help if it happens.

FLO)?
No listed drug interactions with other drugs.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)?
Since Ethyl 70% alcohol is used when needed, it does not have a regular dosing schedule.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSE


• Severe Burning
• Severe Stinging
• Cold feeling

HOW TO STORE ETHYL ALCOHOL 70% SOLUTION (ANGEL’S FLO)


Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from the flame.
Keep Ethyl Alcohol 70% Solution (ANGEL’S FLO) in a dry, well-ventilated area at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Do
not use it after the expiry date indicated in the package.

WHEN SHOULD YOU CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR?


Consult your doctor if the condition you are treating with ethyl alcohol does not improve, or if it gets worse while using
ethyl alcohol.
