Science Technology

Society

Science is a method of discovering what exists in the universe and how those things function
today, in the past, and in the future. Scientists are motivated by the joy of discovering something
that no one else has. Science is the cornerstone of our beliefs about what is now taking place
within our society. Moving to technology: technology is the practical application of scientific
knowledge, whether in industry or in our daily lives. Hence, in general, we employ technology
whenever we apply our scientific knowledge to attain a certain goal. The term society is
commonly used in the social sciences to refer to a collection of people who form a semi-closed
social system in which most interactions are with other members of the group. A society is
defined more broadly as a network of relationships between social entities.

The similarities between science and technology are that science, in general, creates a channel of
new information and directs ideas that lead to creativity and technical potential. As a result,
science is essentially the facts or components, whereas technology is the application or final
product of science. I feel that the relationship between science and society is that science is
fundamentally the thing that explains the existence of a person, and society is a group of people
who co-exist in one place. Society also relies on science to advance and understand our own
existence as well as how things work in our surroundings. Science also teaches us how to
produce new products that will ease the strain of our daily lives. The relationship between
society and technology is such that technology has emerged as a significant agent of social
transformation. The more evolved a civilization is, the more it encourages technology, and as a
result, the more it changes as a result of technology. And the faster the technological progress,
the more rapid the social transformation that it causes.

The scientific understanding of how the world works affects how we behave. Technology
impacts our ability to behave. Society drives technical advancements and scientific research.
Science informs us about the kind of technologies that we might develop and how we might
develop them, whereas technology allows us to perform additional scientific studies. The three
realms are so intertwined that it might be impossible to separate them at times. Yet,
understanding how the three relate to one another is critical since each one influences the other's
development.
