MY DREAM TRAVEL DESTINATION

My dream travel destination is ITBAYAT BATANES because Itbayat Island is the northernmost
inhabited island of Batanes and has a unique charm of its own. It is more rugged and more
difficult to explore than Batan and Sabtang Island, but it is worth the effort to see the natural
beauty of Itbayat Island, it has a vast topography, rolling hills, and wild horses grazing on never-
ending green pasture lands It also has several small and uninhabited northern islands, including
Dinem, Siayatan, Ditarem, A’li, Misanga, and Mavulis.

Here are the steps to get to Itbayat Island in Batanes from Quezon City:
Take a flight from Quezon City to Basco, Batan Island. The flight takes about 1 hour and 45
minutes and costs around ₱5,000 to ₱10,000, depending on the airline and the time of booking
From Basco, take a motorized boat to Itbayat Island. There are three motorized boats that ply the
Basco-Itbayat inter-island route: M/B Itransa, M/B Ocean Spirit, and M/B Veronica. The boat
ride takes about 4 hours and costs around ₱450 to ₱500 per person
Once you arrive in Itbayat Island, you can explore the island's natural beauty, such as Torongan
Cave, Mt. Ripused, and nearby Siayan Island. You can also stay in one of the homestays in
Itbayat, such as Levinda Lodge or Cano's Lodge
Note that traveling to Itbayat Island can be challenging due to the rough waves, so it is
recommended to check the weather conditions and sea conditions before planning your trip.
