My December

It was just another regular day from the winter holiday. I came at my
grandparents’ house with my parents to spend Christmas and New Year there. I
decided to stay there for the rest of the holiday, much better than stay in an
apartment.

Big snowflakes fell from the sky. That was the first time when I saw snow in
December. I could enjoy watching the snow fall while I stayed in bed, but I wanted
to spend my time in nature. I took a look around. Usually the view was boring, but
now it was different. The snow-covered house looked just like a house from fairy
tales with those bright Christmas lights.

Not far away from our house there was a forest that belonged to my grandpa.
I walked to my favourite place. There was supposed to be a river, but now it’s dry.
Next to it there is an old tree with big roots. I sat down and watched how the snow
fell from the sky. The ground started to be fully covered in white snow. This is
how I spent the rest of the day: I walked all over the place and took some photos.
There is nothing I enjoy more than taking photos to landscapes and nature.

On the way back home I noticed some little paws that were almost covered
by snow. I realized they were cat paws and most probably my tomcat secretly
followed me. After I called him, he came at me. His fluffy fur was full of
snowflackes. He was very cute!
 When I arrived home I realized how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful
place. It may look just like a boring house at the countryside, but it is a peaceful
land where you can enjoy nature.
