    prevention prior to exercise Mepolizumab-
    Albuterol (Ventolin) immunimodulator-Prevent
    SAMA - Anticholinergics help binding of IgE
    in drying up the airways from LABA/SAMA - long term
    mucus (Aerovent)
    Corticosteroids - usually by
    inhalation for long term
    treatment

    PATIENT EDUCATION
    Avoid foods with monosodium glutamate
    use high temp washing to eliminate allergens in bedsheets
    teach patient when to look for emergency services in cases
    of breathing difficulty while walking, cyanosis or PEF <50
    teach patient to measure PEF twice daily
    NSAIDS and Beta Blockers can cause Bronchoconstriction
    Take Ventolin before exercise
    While taking Ventolin keep track of pulse rate and
    Potassium level and wait 5minutes before or after taking
    other meds
    when using steroid inhalers maintain good oral hygiene to
    prevent candida
