Cyrill Shane Jallorina 12- Democritus

The portrait of a woman in art, has evolved to

symbolize the worth of woman as well as the
statement "that you are a woman, not just a
woman." The painting's cold tones gives off
from an unhappy vibe. The difficulties that
mother and child are dealing through in the
painting may be seen as the hard reality of
motherhood for woman.
The "Mother and Child" painting's simplicity
caught my attention at first. The color makes
her appear like a goddess and implies a bond of
trust between the two of them. The painting's
hues evoke a serene, pleasant sense, the distance
between the mother and child might signify the
child's independence and freedom. Mother and
Child is a simple piece of art, but it comes with
meaningful. Its definitely shows the important
role of a mother in one's life and proves that
child are the best gift that life has to offer. The
mother's unending love for her child, whether things are going good or bad in their lives, it's
symbolizes that the mother strength his her child in happiness, deep emotions, and sadness.
The mother and the child are shown as two souls that share a single heart. The art has a
warm, accepting feeling because towards its normal color and gentle holistic tones. The
mother and child motif's nature and nurture symbolism are beautifully portrayed in the
painting. Their abundance of vibrant colors and mild details add a sense of life and
movement. The delight and beauty of being alive stand out from the mother's love and care
for the child.
My view is that the artist was trying to portray the love of a mother has for her child. Going
back to my interpretation of the painting, it seems as though the mother and child share a time
of eternal love. It looks that blue, red, dark brown, as well as other colors are used as the
painting's primary hues. Red is a hue that is used to symbolize a time of love, and the mother
in the artwork appears to be unhappy despite the suffering they face. A mother's love for her
child never changes, no matter what challenges they experiences, the mother is able to give
him the greatest care at the time, to give the child what he need.
