CARIES: • Son zonas dañadas en forma permanente en la superficie de los dientes que se convierten en pequeñas fosas que se producen a causa de una combinación de factores como son las bacterias de la boca, hidratos de carbono azucarada y una limpieza deficiente aparecen frecuentemente. En los niños hasta incluso en los bebés si no se tratan las caries pueden extenderse y afectar capas más profundas de los dientes, puede provocar dolor de molares intensos y por último la pérdida de dientes.
