Respondents of the Study:

The focus of the study is to assess the effectiveness

of rhyming games in reading readiness will use by the

teachers of Talavera South District in Early Literacy

Development among kindergarten pupils.

Expected twenty (20) Kindergarten teachers in Talavera

South District will be answered questions about the study.


Construction and Validation of the instrument

Researcher used survey questionnaires as a primary tool

for data gathering. The instrument will be constructed and

developed by the researcher and will undergo validation by

experts in the field. The questionnaires constructed by

English The survey-questionnaire is composed of four parts:

Rhyming Games for oral language development 4 items;

Rhyming Games for phonemic awareness development 4 items;

Rhyming Games for writing development 4 items; and,

Rhyming Games for letter recognition development 4 items.

Researcher ensured that all questions printed in the paper

are aligned with the problem of this study and each to

understand by the respondents.


Research locale

The study will be in the District of Talavera South,

Talavera, Nueva Ecija at present time the school is in the

supervision of Rowena V. Grospe, managing twenty (20)

complete elementary schools and 4 primary schools.


CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY

This Chapter describes the research method used,

procedure or flow chart of the research, the respondents

of the study, the research locale, locator map, the

construction and validation of the instrument.

Method of Research

This study used the descriptive method of

research in order to determine the effectively of

rhyming games in reading readiness used by the teachers of

Talavera South District in Early Literacy Development among

kindergarten pupils. The research used descriptive method

by Calderon (2008), as cited by Alberto et al (2011),

descriptive method is also known as statistical

research, and it describes data and characteristics

about the population or phenomenon being studied. This

research method is used for frequencies, averages and

other statistical calculations. Often the best approach

prior to writing descriptive research, is conducting a

survey investigation. The characteristics of this method

were used a tool to determine the effectively of rhyming

games in reading readiness used by the teachers of Talavera

South District in Early Literacy Development among


kindergarten pupils. This means that descriptive research

gives meaning to the quality and standing of facts that are

going on.

Researcher believes that descriptive methods is the

most appropriate tool in this study in dealing with the

poor health habits of pupils and what are the cause and

effects of that in their academic performance. Survey test

and interviews are used to support the method of research

in gathering accurate information from the respondents of

this study.
