Terminal Objectives This session allows participants to become acquainted, and appreciate the key features of Curriculum
Contextualization, Localization and Indigenization.

Enabling Objective: At the end of the session, the participants will be able to:
• Recognize the legal basis of contextualization.
• Analyse the difference of contextualization, localization, and indigenization.
• Give examples of contextualization, localization, and indigenization.
• Value the importance of REACT strategy.

Link with the Previous Session One of education's main goals is to help students reach their full potential; as a result, the Department of
Education-Malangas National High School constantly looks for ways to enhance students' education and
prepare them for the rigors of real life. Thus, having the curriculum contextualized, localized and
indigenized help the students learn more on the content of the lesson, thus use that learning on daily basis
which makes a lifelong learning a possible one
