DMB TRUCK HIRE TERMS AND CONDITION ON TRUCK RENTAL

 The term of agreement is on a month-to-month contract. Such period may be extended

by agreement between parties and reduced to writing of which the extension shall be subject to the
terms and conditions as set out in this Agreement.
 The truck and trailer to only operate within the borders of South Africa
 The Truck and the Trailer are not to be isolated
 Admin cost are no refundable (R10 000.00) in case of refunds
 The truck and trailer carry a maximum of 34 ton per load
 Contract will commence on date of delivery
 Payments are 100% upfront
 Each truck is allocated to one driver
 Extra driver will be charged separately
 No illegal loading, driver should always have proof of loading in form of loading weigh bridge
slip (without these the contract will be terminated with immediate effect without a refund)
 RM Logistix does not cover GIT insurance
 Change of route fee R5 000.00
 Compulsory truck and trailer inspection on delivery
 All defaults should be noted and addressed on inspection date
 Unlimited kilometers during the rental period
 No refund
 RM Logistix will only reimburse a day lost due to a mechanical breakdown that takes more
than 24Hours
 Truck and driver operate from 06:00am till 22:00pm (24Hour operation will be charged at an
extra cost)
 Any mechanical breakdown that takes place outside operational hours will be charged fully on the
client
NB RM Logistix will not be held responsible for any day lost due to any unforeseen
circumstances or reason other than a mechanical breakdown that can take more than
24HRS to resolve.

WHAT IS EXCLUDED ON THE TRUCK RENTAL PACKAGE?

 Diesel cost
 Operational cost
 Any other offloading and loading permits cost
 GIT insurance
 Toll gate fees
 Operational breakdown cost which are not mechanical including: tyre puncher,
hydraulic refill & burst, tyre burst
 Tyre, battery, and diesel theft
 Truck stop costs/Parking cost
 Rotran for truck and driver
 Break and illumination test
