What's planning?
Planning can be defined as a process of setting up goals and objectives for a given
period of time, formulating alternatives for the course of action to be taken, and finally
deciding an appropriate action from the various alternatives.

Specifying objectives
Before conducting a lesson plan, teachers should know what things to take into account in the
lesson plan. They should start with a consideration of aims when planning a lesson plan. As a
result, if teachers consider this matter, they will realize and understand how essential
"Specifying Objectives" is for getting down the preparation of a lesson plan.

What happens once you get starting points


The starting point is usually an academic standard that is used to form a lesson
objective sometimes called a learning targetor goal.
Zero option
This is when a teacher walks into class with some ideas in their head but has written nothing
down at all. The teacher may have to do this at some time if there’s been a disaster in the
school.
