My name is Eva Starman and I’m 16 years old.

I live in Koper, Slovenia with my family - parents, two

brothers and a sister. We also have two dogs, about 13 chickens and 6 adult goats with their
offsprings, so I already know something about working with them. I also know a little about horses
and horseback riding, because riding has been my hobby since I was a child. I was hoping I could join
you at the beginning of July 2023 – for example on the 10 th – you would say which date suits you best,
and I was planning on staying till the end of the month. I already know how to ride and milk by hand,
help at birth, take care of the kids…, therefore I am happy to help with that. I am not so agile in
speaking Italian and I would like to learn it while helping on the farm, but I am good at English. My
sister has been wwoofing in Italy and Switzerland for about a year now so she has told me something
about it. I liked your farm, because you have goats as well as horses, you mention milking by hand,
horse riding and producing cheese, therefore everything I’m interested in and already recognize some
of it. I also read some of the reviews about your farm and they were all positive, after that I got quite
excited if it would be possible for me to come and help you. I am only 16 years old and not yet of age,
nevertheless I was inspired by your work and way of life, so I hope my not being of age wouldn’t be a
problem; I can still do and help with everything. Hope to meet you this summer!
