Fashion Blogging Dos and Don’ts

Many fashion lovers spend hours a week trying on
clothes, matching outfits to shoes and creating new looks.
Often, they take pictures of themselves and put them
online. Some fashion lovers even turn this into
a career.
“Fashion really interests me,” said Hannah Lawson, a
young blogger from London, “but when I started posting
my favourite looks online, I discovered the benefits of
being a fashion blogger. I get free products and earn
money from blogging.”
Do you want to be a fashion blogger? We asked five
popular bloggers for some of their best tips.

Tip 1: Find your own style: “Smart, casual, retro –

whatever it is, wear it. People became interested in my
blog when I developed an individual style.” Eve Pat,
Berlin
Tip 2: Take good pictures: “Your clothes should look
good on camera. Bloggers always use good photo editing
programs to get the best results.” Aaron Haxley, Chicago
Tip 3: Post often: After not posting for two weeks, the
number of people watching my blog went down, so make
sure to post frequently.” Natasha Huntington, Moscow.
Tip 4: Interact with your followers: “Only your
followers can make you popular. I always try to answer
their comments and respect their opinions.” Kevin Kelly,
Denmark
Tip 5: Plan your content: “I make a plan before I post
anything and I always look for new items to keep people
interested.” Camille Bardot, Paris
