With the rapid development of technology in recent years, it is common for people to work from home.

However, there are many challenges that people have to face when they work from home, and this essay
is about dealing with these challenges.

One of the most obvious problems is that when people work from home, they would feel a lack of
collaboration and communication. There is a fact that communication between humans is already hard
enough face-to-face, and it is much harder when working at home. People tend to rely on nonverbal
communication, and this is the main reason why communicating is one of the most common challenges
people will face when working from home. One practical solution to this is to organize regular meetings
to make sure everyone is on the same page, maintain frequent contact with each other to make sure
expectations, and everything runs smoothly.

Besides lacking collaboration and communication, there is another extreme challenge which is
loneliness. A lack of social interaction causes all of us to feel more isolated and lonely, especially those
working from home which can cause people more stressed than working in cubicles. Not to mention,
some projects require face-to-face or teamwork-orientated discussion, but in terms of telecommuting,
sending emails or making phone calls is the only option available. The ultimate solution often provide is
to try to plan social activities outside work that give you the social interaction you need, plus organize
regular video calls with friends and family, or try working in a coworking space or library.

In conclusion, working from home is very common nowadays, but it also provides many drawbacks.
People should consider the most appropriate working method for themselves.
