Chrisland ,45 Years of Navigate the World of Excellence

Chrisland was founded, October 3 ,1977 by High Chief Dr [MRS] Winifred Awosika
[OON]. She was with a vision to be at the forefront of private education sector
and to nurture the children to become all they can be through quality all round
education from kindergarten to tertiary level.
The vision is backed up with action as there are experienced educators that hold
advanced degrees in order to have happy, excited and enthusiastic learners. In
Chrisland, they provide the most conducive learning environment to achieve
excellence.
As they say in Chrisland ‘‘We never leave a child behind’’, from the foundation
stage, the learners are primed to excel at both regional and international
competitions. Chrisland also wins several awards at the Centre for Black and
African Arts and Civilization Competition [CBAAC]. Their learners are motivated
and groomed to harness their creativity and talents.
They take pride in their learners as they continue to show forth the light
everywhere, every time. Haneefa Kasim was the second overall best candidate in
the 2020 WASSCE in Lagos state and Ebonguko Anthony, was the winner of Junior
Science Category; Nigerian Mathematics and Science Olympiad.
In 2021, they touched lives, gave hope and gave back to the society. They deploy
21st Century learning skills to actualize the, of our learners. With a solid
foundation, they give their learners a head start in life. In 2021 Chrisland Schools
limited was awarded the most outstanding private school at the National
Education Summit and Awards, it was also awarded most outstanding school by
the office of quality assurance, Lagos State Ministry of Education.
In Chrisland love is at the core of everything they do. Also to raise global leaders,
they expose their learners to the fundamentals and dynamics of leadership, and
that has made Michelle Okoro, Michael Chijioke Isiguzo and Solange Oluwateniola
Akinwumi; newly-elected Undersecretary, Deputy Secretary-General and ---
Secretary-General respectively, for NISSMUN 2022 amongst others.
It is true that any child can win given the right opportunities. Chrisland has shown
it through its record of excellence over the past four decades.
Any child can win given the right opportunities. However, we have had few cases
that had negated what we represent. However, instead of breaking us, it has
made us review our policies and come out stronger to remain committed than
ever before to stand and upload what we represent ‘‘Excellence’’.
