Part I: Create your Co-op Portal Account

Step 1: Visit
recruitstudents.torontomu.ca
and click on the “Students” tab,
and then “Apply to Co-op” to
login with your Toronto Met U
credentials.

Step 2: Before you begin your application, please click on the


"My Account" tab to complete your student profile. This is a
critical step in the application process.

Step 3: To start your Co-op application, click on the


"Co-op" tab on the left-hand side.

Step 4:
To start your
application,click on the
“Apply to a Program button
on the top right-hand corner.

Step 5: Here, you will see each academic


program (be sure to scroll down if you do not see
your major). Once you locate your program, click
on the “Apply” button.

Step 6: Follow the instructions under Part II of


this document to complete your Co-op
Application.
Part II: Creating your PDF Application Package (Resume, Cover Letter
& Unofficial Transcript)

In addition to the questions outlined in the Co-op Application, you will also need to upload your
PDF Application Package (Resume, Cover Letter & Unofficial Transcript)

Step 1: It is critical that you are


uploading your PDF application
package as one file. To do this,
click on the “Co-op” tab on the
left-hand side > “Documents” tab

Step 2: Click the “Upload


Document” button to upload your resume,
cover letter and unofficial transcript

Step 3: To upload your resume, cover


letter and unofficial transcript, they must
all originally be saved in .PDF format.

Step 4: Once you have uploaded all 3


documents, click the “Create Application
Package” button.
Step 5: From here, you can select all 3 items (that you just uploaded!) from the drop-down
menu for each item.

Once you have selected all 3, click the “Submit” button.

Step 6: Once you return to the


main page, click the “View”
button beside your “Application
Packages”.

Step 7: Next, you will see the


PDF Application Package that you just created, ready for your download. Click the “Download
PDF” button and ensure to note where you are saving this file on your computer/device.
Step 8: Lastly, now that you have downloaded your PDF Application Package, you can return
to your Co-op Application, and use this file specifically to upload.

Step 9: Follow the instructions under Part III of this document to complete your Co-op
Application.

Part III: Submitting your Co-op Application

Before submitting your Co-op Application, ensure that all questions are completed and that you:
● Submit your online video interview links (instructions on how to do this can be found in
the VideoBio guide). Be sure to paste the link to your video interview in BOTH boxes.
(Note: please ensure the link you have copied is for your official interview, not your
practice interview):

● Submit your PDF Application Package that you created using the Co-op portal and you
are using this file specifically to upload:
Once you have completed your Co-op application, be sure to click the “Submit Application”

button at the bottom of the page:
