Content Standard:
The Learners shall evaluate the areas of stress, how it affects their lives, and how
effectively dealing with stress can prolong and improve lives

Performance Standard:
The learners will apply the coping strategies on how to deal with stress.

Learning competency:
The Learners shall be able to value the importance of coping strategies in dealing with
stress.

I. OBJECTIVE/RATIONALE

At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:

a) Identify the major stressors in their lives and the symptoms they are
experiencing through small and large group discussions.
b) Determine the difference between healthy and unhealthy stress reduction
solutions through small and large group discussion.
c) Implement healthy stress reduction solutions into their daily lives through role
playing.

choose what kind of emotions they will portray.

2. The students will pick a line from the box.

3. After picking the lines from the box, they will act
them out in front of the class.

Now that you are already familiar with the different


emotions, we can now proceed to our discussion
today. But before that, let us take a look on a picture.
