Numbers

❖ “Everything around you are numbers.”

❖ Going by the above quote kids can do mental maths anywhere, anytime during the vacation. Example – while eating
with the family members, if there are two slices of bread on each plate then finding the total slices of breads on the table of
four members.

❖ During holidays, when you go out with your parents, observe the number plate of the cars on the road and note down five different numbers.

❖ Arrange the numbers in ascending order.

❖ Write the numbers in expanded form.

❖ Note down the digit in one’s place for each car number.

❖ Write down the value of hundreds place of the numbers of different cars.

❖ During holidays, if you visit any place or attend any party or function, observe the number of persons or objects present there.

❖ Make your own addition and subtraction stories about the different types of persons or objects present there (EX.- number of males, female, children,
colour of their dresses etc.) and write down those stories in your notebook and solve them with model.

❖ Tables of 6,7,8,9 and 10 to be learnt by heart during the holidays.

PLAY
"All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" is a proverb which we believe in and practice in real life!

Kids should go out to play regularly. The parents can take up a challenge with the kids which will motivate them to be active and agile. The challenge
suggested are:

❖ Should be able to do 10 push up at one go.

❖ Bounce a ball for 10 times at one go.

❖ By the end of the holidays let’s see who wins it, child, or parents!!

❖ Go forth and do good!

HINDI

❖ Write स्वर – ‘अ से अ: तक - Once.

❖ Write वर्णमाला - ‘क से ज्ञ’ तक – Once.

❖ गिनती याद करें 1 से 20 तक याद कर के ललखें।

❖ 10 शब्द (3 और 4 अक्षर वाले शब्द) ललखें।

❖ ‘मीठू और कौरा’, ‘पायल का साहस’ के शब्द अर्ण और प्रश्न-उत्तर याद करें ।
