§ As my target audience are young, I posted my production on YouTube. I did this
because the younger generation use social media platforms a lot more than some
older generations and therefore it will be able to reach more people within my
target audience.
§ I originally wanted to do a music video since I have not fully done one properly yet.
And in the focus group we talked about doing a music video to the song Free Bird –
Lynyrd Skynyrd. However I later dismissed this as it is a 9+ minute song and would
require a lot more time to complete.
§ I then came across the song Shine a Light. Which I have known for many years and
decided that it was long enough and would fit the vibe of the production. And from
then on, the planning for the production began.
§ There was one major issue I faced when I was filming my production. And that was
that my actor had travelled down to London for a week in the week which I was
planning to film. Because of this the filming was delayed and this prolonged my
whole production. Due to this, when I had finished filming it left me with only 2
days to edit the footage. So the final edit unfortunately is not my best work. Had
filming gone to plan, the edit would have been better.
