I was married to Jill Renee Kostiuk. We were divorced on June 15, 2006.
We have one child, Reid Burton Jr. Reid was born 8/30/2005.

Last Friday, April 25th, Jill Renee Kostiuk was involved in an accident in Naples, FL.

She ran a red light and struck another vehicle.
The Florida State Police responded and arrested her.
My son was in the back seat.
She was charged with child endangerment and DUI.
She posted $24,000 bail and was released.
My son was given to someone who claimed to be the father.
They didn’t verify his identity and now my son is missing.

My first knowledge of this was Tuesday, April 29th.

A friend saw it in the paper.

Jill Renee Kostiuk was employed by Florida DCF on probation.

Florida DCF was not notified by Florida State Police of child neglect.
Florida DCF does not know where my son and ex-wife are.
It is possible she has taken him to Arizona where her mother, also JRK, lives.
It is also possible that friends of hers, Shannon and Stacy Walsh of Port St. Lucie, may know where
they are.
Shannon contacted a mutual friend to find out if I was in town. I haven’t had any contact with
Shannon for more than a year and haven’t worked with him in 1 ½ years. This is suspicious.

I urgently need your help.

Jill has a history of violence which continued through our marriage.
I have not been able to continue a relationship with my son for fear of her continued violence and
vindictive behavior.
I don’t know how she was able to qualify for employment with DCF.
Florida DCF responded to our home in 2006 when she threatened suicide while caring for our son.
She was arrested in our previous home in Boca Raton for attacking me with a knife in 2005.
Since our divorce Florida DCF has repeatedly notified me that my child support payments have been
delinquent and my driver’s license would be suspended.
The payments have always been paid on time or before through the Child Support website.
Someone changed my records. The contact between DCF and Dept. of Revenue was altered
internally.
I am aware that at least one other file may have been compromised on someone who is my friend.
I have retained an Attorney, Danie Vincent Laguerre, of Stuart, FL to assist me in finding my son,
determine why he was given to an imposter, and get him into a safe environment.

I do not believe the police are making an effort to find them due to their failure to protect my son after
the accident.
I do not believe Florida DCF is making an effort due to the employment relationship with Jill Renee
Kostiuk.
I really need your help in finding my son.
