    1. A 60-year-old woman presented with a three-week-old venous leg ulcer, varicose veins, reticular veins, and signs of infection including leukocytosis and inflammation around the wound. 2. Antibiotic treatment with clindamycin and cefixime was started along with wound care using antibacterial dressings, but compression therapy was delayed until the infection improved. 3. Once signs of infection decreased, compression therapy was started using short stretch bandages which accelerated wound healing, and compression stockings were prescribed to reduce the risk of recurrence.
