The Diary of a Young Girl, is a non-fiction, diary of a young teenage Jewish girl,
Anne Frank. Set in the backdrop of World War –II and the Holocaust, Anne Frank
was born on 12 June 1929 in Frankfurt

ANNE'S FAMILY BACKGROUND

Anne Frank's parents both came from middle-class German-
Jewish families. Anne Frank's parents and her elder sister love
her a lot. Anne Frank tells that she has a very lovely and caring
family.

ANNE’S DIARY
When Anne received a diary for her thirteenth birthday,
she immediately started writing in it. She wrote about
her life and the people around her. In time, she
developed as a writer, wrote short stories and started
working on a novel based on her diary.
