    Pottery Assignment

    If I were to have done the pottery assignment, I would have made a snake tealight holder. I

    would rolled the clay out into a long stick and wrap it around a cup. I would have made the snake

    head out of a clump of clay and took a pencil to make different lines and designs around the

    snake. I would have encountered some problems like the snake's body not turning out right and

    the designs not looking right. How I would fix the body problem: I would’ve kept rolling out the

    clay and made it more even so that it doesn't look warped. The designs on the body were bound

    to go wrong, to fix this I would try and work with what I have, add more lines and make it like a

    criss cross type of style. Finally, I would glaze my snake tealight holder dark green or black. It

    would suit a snake the best.
