SECOND SEMESTER, 2022

INTRODUCTION

In these difficult times that we are going through, the University of Panama has adopted the
modality of offering non-contact classes by using technological devices such as computers or i-
phones. The use of internet has been essential for students to start their studies and fulfill
with their assignments and homeworks. As a teacher, I made up groups of five (5) or (6)
students; so that, you may exchange your knowledge and experiences with your classmates. I
hope you can apply the technique of collaborative learning and thus you can help one another.
Today I present to you this self-learning module that consists of written exercises, readings
and written workshops. I chose a coordinator per group who will send to you all the modules.
On the other hand, I am available to help you do the assignments and I will give virtual classes
for you to understand the grammatical concepts and some other issues to be clarified.
Likewise, you can ask me questions or make inquiries if you have doubts about the given
material. Every student in the group can use a dictionary, see virtual classes on YouTube, work
on the google translator, exchange ideas and experiences, and so forth. The coordinators are
going to be in charge of distributing the different parts of the module and you can contact me
via whatsApp or e-mail. My phone number is 6033-3417 and my e-mail is
universidad.moises@gmail.com.
