5. Less to no use of fillers such as ‘ahs’ and ‘ums’.
6. The repetition of words can be lessened to avoid redundancy.

What lecture, video, assignment or textbook material may have better prepared you for this
speech?

The readings are helpful but more examples of cultural narrative speeches could have
been helpful. Also, sample videos of speeches taken at home during the pandemic so we have
something to base on in this new setting.
