Eng. Abdelmonaem has worked in cement industry for more than 32 year start from
1986 till now. He has worked in many positions in this field, from Chemist to working as a
Manager of laboratories and quality control. Also, he received a certificate of accreditation
from the American Petroleum Institute (API) as the director of the production of oil well
Cement in Egypt. He rehabilitated most cement companies to get the CE mark and
compatibility with European standard such as Tourah Cement Plant, Kattameya Cement
Plant and Suez Cement Plant. From 1998 to 2008 and the period from 2014 to 2016 he has
represented both Tourah and Shura Cement Companies in the Building Material Standards
Committee in the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS).

- Create a calibration system complying with ISO 10012.
- Rehabilitation Tourah Cement Company and processing plants to comply
with the requirements of the European directives (Construction Products
Directive CPD 89/106/EEC).
- Rehabilitation to get to the general CE-Mark in accordance with the
specifications of the European EN 197-1, 2: 2011 and specifications EN
196-1, 2,3,6,7.Providing consulting services for various clients including
donor-funded projects in the energy and environment sectors.

ISO 10426-1 (2002) specification.
- Establishment of a quality system compliant with the requirements of
the American Petroleum Institute API - Q1
- Visit several locations as Libya, Qatar and Yamen as customer support
for oil will cement.
- Set up the Tourah cement plant Oil Well Cement LAB. Compatible with
American Petroleum Institute API Spec.10 A, standard and with the
European standard ISO 10426-1 (2002) specification.

Quality Control Supervisor at Tourah Plant
- Manage the Process operation of four cement kiln No. (3, 4, 5, 6).
- Make the raw mix design to produce several types of cements including
Sulfate Resistance Cement (SRC), CEM 42.5 R, CEM II B – L 32.5 N, CEM II
A – S 32.5 N and OPC Super Fine Cement.
- Manage the operation of eleven (11) cement mills (3 wet cement mills
and 8 dry cement mills)

Quality Control Shift Manager
Manage the shift from receiving all raw materials and all processes (Kiln
Feed, Cyclones, and Clinker samples) tell release the final product
“cement” according to targets published by the company which of course
compatible with EN 196/2 – 2012, EN 197 – 1/2012, ES 4756 – 1/2013 and
ASTM Standards.
- Participate in raw materials, and process targets preparations, construct
all X-Ray applications, fix all troubleshooting and prepare for all
maintenance visits by the suppliers.
