The theme for the activity is “Paghakaisa at Pagmamalasakit Para sa Guro, Para sa Bata, Para sa Matatag na Edukasyon.” ‘This very significant event will be attended by some 700 teachers, school administrators, academic personnel, and other education workers and advocates from the 17 regions of the country. The objectives of the activity ae as follows: Discuss the existing national policies involving the rights of teachers as well as the welfare of the children: 1. Provide the teachers with information on pertinent issues of the education sector and solicit more proposals for a better and improved education system: ©. Equip the teachers and school administrators with knowledge and skills to make them more responsible teachers and education leaders; and Formulate policy recommendations in response to current issues and concems.
