In accordance with Article 49(1), the Convention will enter into force on
1 April 2004, but only as regards a category of objects to which a
Protocol applies. In accordance with Article XXVII(1), the Aircraft
Protocol enters into force on the first day of the month following the
expiration of three months after the date of the deposit of the eighth
instrument of ratification, acceptance , approval or accession.
