COURSE DESCRIPTION: The combined MD-10 and MD-11 System course uses standup
classroom presentation to teach a detailed system operation. The course
is designed for MD-10 and MD-11 AMT’s to obtain the 120 hour GMM
prerequisites to sign off the airworthiness release on FedEx aircraft.
COURSE OBJECTIVE: Graduates will have the require knowledge to troubleshoot repair and
perform maintenance ultimately increasing system and aircraft dispatch
reliability.
Course Duration: 120 hours (fifteen day @ eight hours per day) inclusive of breaks and
test
PREREQUISTITES: NONE
TRAINING MATERIAL: Each student will receive training material or an IPad (when available) to
research the aircraft maintenance manuals, fault isolation manual, wiring
diagrams, and other references as necessary for the course.
COURSE PRESENTATION: Instructor conducts class utilizing digital projection, videos and Computer
Based Training (CBT). Classes are conducted in the English language.
