Final Reflection

Freshman year I did my PSA on cyberbullying and bullying in the school. This was my

first filming project and I wasn't really proud of this project because of how rushed it was and I

really didn't know what I was doing. After the PSA project we did not anymore filming . Our

freshman year was cut short due to Covid 19. For the rest of the year we go on to do writing

assignments.

Our sophomore year , at the beginning of it, was very similar to the end of our freshman

year. In the middle of the school year we did the music video project. I also really wasn't really

satisfied with this project. The filming process reminded me of freshman year’s project. It was

rushed and it was very chaotic. This was also the project I realized I hate filming and I lost all

passion for it because of how bad it went. After the music video , we did small videos on tiktok,

some photography and more writing assignments.

Our Junior Year, when we came back we were assigned monthly segments for the senior

packages. I was assigned to do the Hispanic Heritage Celebration. This assignment made me

realize that I actually liked being in front of the camera instead of behind the camera . Junior

year we also filmed our NASA Hunch project which was also a broadcasting project which I also

liked doing because there was more camera time . I think junior year was the year I broke out of

the shyness and I became more confident.

 Our Senior Year, we did our Tech Talk which was our main project this year . Which was

an interview that highlighted someone in the school community. Another thing we did this year

was the Bulldog Blast when we would have to edit a segment from the different months of the

year.

Now it’s a few weeks before graduation and I will be going to The College of New

Jersey. I will major in Broadcast Journalism because of this shop . This shop has taught me a lot

about what I want to do in college and I think this was the best thing that happened for me

because it made me more confident with my public speaking and just overall. This shop also

made me realize what I’m passionate about and that’s being a sport reporter or news anchor.
