PROGRAM AND WORKING COMMITTEES ON THE CONDUCT OF SCHOOL LAC SESSION

1.In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic
Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education (DepEd) issued the policy on The
Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing
Professional Development Strategy for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning.
Through this policy, the DepEd fully supports the continuing professional development
of its teaching personnel based on the principle of lifelong learning and DepEd’s
commitment to the development of teachers potential aimed towards their success in
the profession. This can be done through the school-based LAC, which primarily
functions as a professional learning community for teachers that will help them improve
practice and learner achievement.

2.This activity aims to support school heads, ICT Coordinators, teachers & other personnel
on the use of ICT in the delivery of the lesson l and in office management especially at this time
of pandemic wherein online homeschooling has been implemented.

3.Participants to this activity are the teachers of Simona National High School . They are
enjoined to prepare their laptops and other gadgets for the session workshops.

4.Attached are the lists of allocation of participants , Executive & program Management
team, and the Training Matrix. The meeting link shall be provided on the day of the training.

5.Expenses incurred for this activity will be charged against local funds subject to the usual
accounting & auditing rules & regulations.

6.Immediate & wide dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.
