Safety rules are primarily for employees and workers protection. Injuries
impose a severe burden on employees and their families. It often results to loss
of financial income and can lead to permanent disability. Observance of the
following fundamentals of the safety rules should impose no hardships on
anyone. It will make ELECTRIC PRO CONSTRUCTION OPC a better and
safer place to work with.
1. Waste and trash containers must be used to keep areas clean and orderly.
2. Aisles, hallways and fire exit must be open.
3. All gasoline and other flammable liquids must be stored in approved and
properly labeled safety containers at all times.
4. All stored materials must be stack properly on a firm and even foundation.
5. Machines appearing to be electronically or mechanically unsafe must not
be operated.
6. Employees must familiarize themselves with all firefighting and evacuation
procedures.
7. No smoking is allowed in any facility except in specific areas for smoking.
8. Personal protective equipment including safety shoes, goggles and gloves
must be used if required.
9. Tools for personal safety and other equipment should be maintained in
good service condition. Broken and damaged tools should be given to
immediate SUPERVISOR to repair or replace.
10. Employees are prohibited to use or wear accessories that interfere with
their work that could potentially get caught in machines.
EXAMPLE: necklace, bracelets or earing.
11. All work-related injuries and accidents, must be reported to immediate
supervisor.
12. Employees should not operate any machinery or equipment unless
properly trained.
