01 BOILING POINT
HIGHEST TO LOWEST
Why I organized them by boiling point?
I organized all of the elements by boiling point
because:

● Boiling points reflect the strength of forces

between molecules
● Boiling points increase as the number of carbons
increase
● There is a small relationship between the BP and
Atomic Mass. Lighter elements have a faster or
lower boiling point. Heavier elements have a
higher boiling point.

I did research on why the boiling point affects the

elements.

I left room for other elements by including a top

empty row and some space at the bottom. That way I
can shift my periodic table.
ATOMIC MASS
HIGHEST TO LOWEST
02
Why I organized them by atomic mass?

BOILING POINT
THE HIGHER THE ATOMIC MASS THE HIGHER
THE BOILING POINT NEEDS TO BE.

MENDELEEV
THE ORIGINAL PERIODIC WAS ORGANIZED BY ATOMIC
MASS. Mendeleev said,, “If the elements are arranged
according to their atomic mass number, a pattern
can be seen in which similar properties Mendeleev's
occur regularly”.

ATOMIC MASS
I ORGANIZED THEM FROM HIGHEST TO LOWEST ATOMIC MASS BECAUSE
Every element has its own unique atomic THE WEIGHT OF AN ELEMENT IS AN IMPORTANT PROPERTY. I LEFT SPACE
mass because elements have different IN ORDER TO ADD OTHER ELEMENTS BASED ON THEIR ATOMIC MASS,
numbers of protons and neutrons MENDELEEV ALSO DID THIS.

CONDUCTORS
CONDUCTOR, NON-CONDUCTOR, SEMI-CONDUCTOR
Why I organized them by conductor,
non-conductor and semi-conductor?

1) I organized them this way because it is

helpful to know what the electrical
properties are.

2) I organized them this way because it is

the easiest way to add extra elements
78%
because of the open space.
Despite being red, Mars is
a cold place
3) Doing it this way shows also which
elements are metals and non metals.
