For hard cutting laboratory, we had 3 experiments with different cutting speed were carried out.
Cutting speed 100 200 300
[m/min]

Also, we had 3 different feed rates.

feed (m)
0,00005
0,000075
0,0001

For the first task, we make graphs of main cutting force, passive force and feeding force. Then we
find the average of these values depending on different feed rates.

We repeat this procedure for all 3 different cutting speeds and determine the average values.

For task 2, we model the equation and simplify it:

𝐸𝑖 = 𝑙𝑜𝑔10 𝐹𝑝𝑖

𝐶 = 𝑙𝑜𝑔10 𝑐
𝐻𝑖 = 𝑙𝑜𝑔10 𝑓𝑖
𝐴𝑖 = 𝑙𝑜𝑔10 𝑎𝑝𝑖

𝑉𝑖 = 𝑙𝑜𝑔10 𝑣𝑐𝑖
Using excel, we apply MINVERSE and MMULT functions to solve the equation and get
𝑥, 𝑧 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑠.From 𝐶 value we can find 𝑐.

𝑐 = 10𝐶 = 103.694 = 4946.727

C 3,694318
x_f 0,396472
z_f 0,038586
c 4946,727

For the Task 3, we have to find deflection. For that, we calculate Inertia and Passive force according to the
values given and we found.
