joining the vessel.

These documents must be valid for whole Contract of Employment on board.

Passport (+6 months validity date after end of Contract), Seaman’s Book, Seafarers Medical Certificate,
Yellow Fever Certificate, Licenses/STCW Certificates, Visas (as applicable), Training Certificates, This
Letter.

Valuables

As per Article 17 of you CBA – Jewellery – Money – Electronic equipment or high value items must be carried
within your hand luggage and not as checked luggage (in the hold).

Luggage / Online Check-in

Unless otherwise specified on your flight confirmation email, baggage allowance is up to 30KG (combined hold
and hand). Please ensure you are aware of your allowance before arriving at the airport – additional costs will be
at your expense.

If you are able to check-in online please do so and print your boarding pass prior to travelling – use
business@fredolsentravel.co.uk as the required email address.
IMPORTANT – Report any loss or damaged luggage to the airline service desk (request PIR reference)
before leaving the airport. Please contact the ship on the number below should you need the next port of
call details.

We advise you to carry a small amount of currency for incidental expense on your journey.
