Visualization/Imagination Exercise

• The visualization exercise helps the participants to use their imagination. It allows them to
imagine alternatives to situation of solving problems on population, environment, political and
other problems that are related to country’ economic stability.

Role Playing

 This strategy is used to provide the participants with the opportunity to “feel the situation
rather than merely intellectualize about it. Role playing also develops empathy and greater
understanding for other vantage points. It can cultivate both cognitive and affective learning.

Group Activity

• students learn better when they learn with others. Working with a group is less threatening than
working alone. Example the KWLH teaching technique is a good method to help students
activate prior knowledge. It is a group instruction activity developed by Donna Ogle (1986) that
serves as a model for active thinking during reading.
 K - Stands for helping students recall what they KNOW about the subject.
 W - Stands for helping students determine what they WANT to learn.
 L - Stands for helping students identify what they LEARN as they read.
 H - Stands for HOW we can learn more (other sources where additional information on the
topic can be found)

Use multimedia resources

• Araling Panlipunan also involves studying various forms of media such as maps, videos,
photographs, and documentaries. Incorporating these multimedia resources in your teaching
can help students understand the concepts better and make the lessons more interesting. You
can also use technology-based resources such as virtual field trips, online games, and
educational apps to make learning more engaging.

Use real-world examples

• Araling Panlipunan topics often involve real-world examples such as current events, historical
events, and social issues. Using these examples in your teaching can help students understand
how the concepts they are learning apply to the real world. It can also help them appreciate the
relevance of the subject and how it affects their lives.
