DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH 4

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson students should be able to:


a. Identify Adverbs of Places used in the sentence.
b. Apply Adverbs of Places in a sentence.
c. Create a sentence using the Adverbs of Place

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Adverbs of Places
Time Allotment: 1 hour
Materials: Illustration board, chalk, traditional IM’s, power point presentation,
Reference: K to 12 Grade 4 Teacher’s Guide in English.

III. LEARNING PROCEDURES.

“Our topic for today is all about the


Adverb of Place.”

First let’s define what is adverb.

“What is Adverb of Place?”

“Adverbs of place are words that tell


us where the action is done.
Adverbs of place give us information
about where something happens. These
include: above, down, everywhere,
inside, forwards, out, uphill, etc. The
various adverbs in this group give us the
ability to explain the exact position (or
movement) of an action.

Here are examples of Adverb of Place:
