Among the application of or the wrought iron, with respect to its given charactericts such

as having a greater corrosion and fatigue resistance, weldability, impact strength and its
versability to forgiing are the following:
 It is use to manufacture pipes
 bolt bars, engine bolt bars, and rivet bars are made using this material
 It is used for plate fabrication
 It is ideal for fabricating specialty chains and crane hooks

 It is use to decorate things such as table bases, curtain rods and candle holders,
and also a great material for fences and gate
 Fasteners such as bolts, nuts and rivvets are also made with wrouught iron
 And were also employed in production of railway couplings

Another material used in the Eiffel tower is the Rivet. This rivet is used to connect the
different parts of the Eiffel Tower.

Addition the picture the you see is the actual rivet that connect part of the Eiffel tower
and for the rivet in the bottom right is a rivet made from the iron of the Eiffel Tower, a
collector's item produced in a limited edition for the 130 th anniversary celebration of the
tower

Another part of the Eiffel was the foundation. It is mention that two of the foundation of
the Eiffel tower is located near the river. It also serves a challenge to build the tower.
To keep water out, Eiffel used 16 pneumatic caissons, four for each pier.
Caissons denote watertight structures which are constructed in connection with the
excavation for foundations of bridges, piers, abutments in river and lake dock structure
It can be made up of wood, steel or reinforced concrete. As for the Eiffel Tower, trhe
caisson that was used was made up of steel.

To maintain the integrity and safety of structure and proper maintenance is needed. To
