Procedure:
Using the illustration below, predict the following scenario stated below:
Scenario:
a. The man standing at the middle of the road 2 meters from the house.
b. The man sleeping under the tree, when he wakes up moves toward the house with contant velocity
of 3m/s.
c. The man standing three meters from the house and accelerates towards the tree with a rate of
2m/s2
d. The man stands still while he talks on his cellphone at the middle of sdewalk, then walks toward the
house at a constant rate 3m/s trying to get better cell reception. He comes to a sudden stop when
the coverage is good for and stands still to finish converastion. After 3 seconds, he walks back to
his original position at the rate of 1m/s.
e. The man starts close to the wall beside the house, stands still for a 5 seconds, then walks toward
the tree at a speed of 2m/s for a while, then when he reach the middle of the street he deccelerate
to stop by 0.25m/s2

Compare the graph’s appearance before and after the simulation. Explain graphs’s apperance in the simulation.
The man's position starts out in the middle, but as velocity and acceleration change, the guy moves backwards; other
locations in the graph stay straight since they weren't changing at the time, while other graphs' positions change
because the man is travelling at a specific velocity and acceleration

Compare the graph’s appearance before and after the simulation. Explain graphs’s apperance in the simulation.
There is no acceleration at the start of the simulation because the guy is not moving or has no changes in
velocity, not until the man begins to move at a different velocity. Some graphs have constant acceleration since
the man is going at a steady change in velocity, while others have rapid acceleration ups and downs due to the
man's sudden stop and change in velocity.

Explore The Moving Man simulation and familiarize with the different features.
By using the simulation, performance each scenario a-e. Verify and check the your predicetd graph. After
performing each scenario, click Chart Tab. Take a screenshot of the graph and insert in the second coloumn of
the chart above.
Compare your predicted graph and the resiult of the simulation. Explain the reasoning for each graph
Assessment:
1. Explain the significance of the slope of a distance vs. time graph. Include a discussion of positive and
negative slope.

A child, who was 1 meter from the crossing, began to proceed slowly and deliberately in order to avoid spilling the
bucket of water he was carrying towards the trashcan at a speed of approximately 1 foot per second. Then, when he
got closer to the bin, he slowed down for a moment and dropped the bucket when he got there, following which he
came to a halt and rested for a moment.
Coclusion:
The variables of position (distance), time, velocity, and acceleration are all linked. They are relative to
one another, and a position can vary if forces such as movement (speed and acceleration) occur in a
situation, as well as how time affects the rate of change in speed, velocity, and acceleration. Positive
slopes are defined as those with upward or forward x and y coordinates, while negative slopes are
defined as those with downward or backward slopes, or x and y coordinates.
