During the pandemic our government announced, vaccines for covid 19 have been available in our

country and they convince all the people to get vaccinated. Thus, a lot of people also have different
thoughts and opinions about the vaccine, some agree to get vaccinated and some are not. If someone
asks you a question like “Would you give consent to be vaccinated? From my point of view, I will give my
consent to be vaccinated. These are the three reasons why I considered having consent to be vaccinated

(1) Firstly it will lower your risk of getting covid 19. Safe and effective vaccines are available that
provide strong protection against covid 19(who.int). Additionally, Vaccination appears to limit the risk of
developing severe or even fatal symptoms. Vaccines may not be 100% sure to protect you against COVID-
19 but it helps you to produce antibodies to help your immune system to be strong and so the body will
familiarize these spike proteins of the virus and let your body fight it You will only feel fewer or mild
symptoms when you get ill but it will be not severe.

(2). Second it has a high rate of safety and efficacy and has great effectiveness. Some of the
COVID-19 vaccines, such as Moderna and Pfizer vaccines reportedly have 90% efficacy. For example,
BioNTech has 91.3% effective against COVID-19 through up to the second dose and this Vaccine has
100% effective in preventing severe disease as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention and 95.3% effective in preventing severe disease as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration(FDA). So the efficacy and the effectiveness of the vaccines are very great. And all the
vaccines approved by WHO, are all randomized clinical trials to test their safety and efficacy. Vaccines are
required to have a high efficacy rate of 50% or above. So we don't have to fear that vaccines may not be
safe and effective for us because it has high efficacy, safety, and effectiveness.

(3) Lastly It's not only for your safety but also for the safety of the community you belong in. Once
more of the population is vaccinated, those chances are further reduced, something called herd
immunity. So getting vaccinated not only reduces your chance of being infected, but it also contributes
to community protection, reducing the likelihood of virus transmission. It can also be a help for those
people who cannot have the vaccine, if enough people are vaccinated those people will be protected. So
it's very important to get vaccinated so you can help to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to your
community and will restrict the virus's opportunity to mutate into new variants.

Even though there are a lot of people getting vaccinated but there are still a lot of people who are
against this vaccination because they somewhat heard the disadvantages of getting vaccinated. Some
said that vaccines are not truly a cure for COVID. But as we always talk about it only helps us to protect
and prevent severe symptoms. That's why government always convinces us to get vaccinated because
it's not only for our Safety of ourselves but also for the community we belong.

To conclude, we can see that there are so many benefits of getting vaccinated, how effective it
was for our body or to ourselves and not only for ourselves but also for those people around us. It also
gives assurance of how safe the vaccine is because the WHO ensures the safety and efficacy of the
vaccines by doing clinical trials before releasing it to the people. Hence, let us give our consent of getting
vaccinated because it's not only you who will get the benefits of getting vaccinated but also the whole
world.
