One day when i was on campus, i accidentally met a visitor who had needs on campus, he then asked
me where the men’s restroom was.

Visitor : Hello, good morning

( Halo,selamat pagi )

Me : Hello, good morning too

( Halo, selamat pagi juga )

Visitor : Can you help me?

( Bisakah anda membantu saya )

Me : Yes,I can help you

( Ya, aku bisa membantumu )

Visitor : I have business on campus but suddenly i need to pee. Can you show me where the toilet is?

( Saya ada urusan di kampus tapi tiba-tiba saya ingin buang air kecil. Bisakah anda menunjukkan
dimana toiletnya? )

Me : The toilet is near the prayer room in building B, let me show you where the toilet is

(Toiletnya ada di dekat musholla di gedung B, biar saya tunjukkan dimana toiletnya )

Visitor : Ok, thanks for the help

( Ok, terima kasih atas bantuannya )

Me : You’re welcome

1. Asking about needs/appointments

2. Dealing with guests who don't have an appointment

• I’m afraid he can’t see you without an appointment.

• Perhaps you’d like to speak with his assistant, sir?

• I’m sorry, I can’t let you see him unless you have arranged a meeting.

• I’ll phone and check if he can see you now.

3. Escort guests to the designated room

• I’ll show you to his office.

• I’d better take you there.

• Walk this way, please.

• Would you like to come with me?

4. Let guests in

• I’ll tell him you’re here.

• You can go straight in/up.

5. Asking guests to wait

• I’m afraid he’s seeing a client at the moment. It won’t be long.
