QUESTION:

A) HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE YOUR CIVIL RIGHT BY USING THE

ARTICLE III OF THE PHILIPPINE CONSTITUITONS? GIVE AN EXAMPLE.

Civil rights include privacy, the freedoms of thought and conscience, speech and expression,
religion, the press, assembly, and movement; protection from discrimination based on race, gender,
national origin, color, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or disability; and protection from
discrimination based on race, gender, national origin, color, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or
disability.
The right to vote, the right to a fair trial, the right to government services, the right to a public
education, and the right to utilize public facilities are all examples of civil rights. Individuals' civil rights
are violated when they are denied the opportunity to participate in democratic society. In contrast to civil
liberties, which are protected by government limitations, these are protected by positive government action,
frequently in the form of legislation. Civil rights laws aim to ensure full and equal citizenship for those
who have historically faced discrimination based on a group characteristic. When many people believe that
the enforcement of civil rights is insufficient, a civil rights movement may form to demand that the laws
be applied equally and without prejudice.
