Line 1: The term “Slavic” used here is perhaps used to remind people of Melania’s origins stemming from Slovakia. At such an
occasion where nationalism is encouraged, the political campaign for the USA requires americans to act in the best interest for
their country. Perhaps this is intentionally brought up to emphasize that Melania isn’t an American, hence she does not belong
at this convention.

Line 4-8: For some reason, she brings in the ideals of Donald Trump to discuss the color scheme chosen by Melania for her
dress. There has not been an instance when Melania has approved of her spouse’s racial remarks, therefore she is clearly trying
to reach in order to associate Melania with Donald’s infamous reputation.

Line 4 & 8: She says Trumps foreigness stands in contrast to her husband’s anti all things brown. Here she is relating Melania’s
outfit to Donald Trump’s racial points of view.

Line 10: The phrase “Clearly your girl” very apparently shows how the writer has picked sides in this case. She believes Michelle
Obama’s speech was better than what Melania had delivered at that convention.

Line 13: Again she compares both the former First Ladies regarding their speeches. While discussing the similar sales of both
their dresses, she says that it is yet another thing Melania has In common with Michelle and this is based off the presumption
that Melania indeed copied her speech from Michelle Obama. Initially she says there are reports of it as being such, but now
she presents that fact as if she has brought faith in those rumors and has accepted that Melania’s speech was unauthentic.

Line 16 & 17: The writer believes that she is wearing that dress because it is in accordance with Trump’s beliefs of pro-white
principles.

Line 17 & 18: She again thinks it is fit to mention the white supremacist mentality, especially by using the word “Foreignness”,
of the GOP when discussing Melania’s dress as she is quite clearly hinting at the reason as to why she chose such a color
scheme.

Here is a side by side comparison of the articles Elizabeth Wellington has written that quite conspicuously expose her bias.

(Right Side):

Line 3: Wellington uses the word “appropriate” to describe Hilary’s dress color meaning she approved of what she was
wearing, a sense of satisfaction she did not show when it came to Malenia wearing the exact same code of color.

Line 4 & 5: She says “This is surreal. A dream come true”. She certainly shows us who she was supporting at those elections.
This line goes to show that the writer is a Hilary Clinton supporter and is now expressing her emotions, which is exactly what
provokes bias.

Line 6 & 7: Given the way she interpreted Melania’s speech at the convention, we see a tremendous amount of contrast in
her analysis. Elizabeth takes Hilary’s take a lot more positively as opposed to that of Melania’s take.
THE END.
